No School:On Monday, January 16th in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr.
Catholic School’s Mass on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 10:30am, with Open House and breakfast to follow. This is a very important day for our School. All families are invited to attend and join the Faculty and Staff in hopes that perspective families will be able to see the blessings that St. Anthony brings. Students must be in full uniform for Mass and will have free dress on Friday the 3rd of February.
Progress Reports: will be sent home with your student on Thursday, January 19th.
Calling all Volunteers: We will have a Saturday work day on January 28th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. This is a great way to do your required parent hours. Please contact Dn. Henry if you will be able to assist.
Save the Date: Father/Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 4th. More information to come!
PRE-KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT: Application packets are available in the school office and our Preschool Director, Mrs. Martinez, is available to share information and answer any questions you may have. Preschoolers must be 3 years of age and potty-trained.
KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT: Applications for Kindergarten are now being accepted. If you have a child entering Kindergarten next year, please be sure to complete the intent form found in Tuesday packet and return it as soon as possible. Testing will begin in February and assessment tests will be scheduled for those whose application is on file. Parents of current preschoolers, it will not be necessary to resubmit an application form as it is already on file. But please complete the intent form found in your Tuesday packet, so your child is ensured a scheduled appointment for Kindergarten assessment testing.
Finger Printing Opportunity: All volunteers must be fingerprinted in order to be on campus with children. The date for Archdiocesan Live scan fingerprinting will be held on January 21 at Holy Cross 13955 Peach Hill Rd. Moorpark from 10 to 1:40pm and from 3:20 to 5:20pm. First Communion Requirements: They need to be baptized, have had one year of religious education, or attended our school or another Catholic school for one year. (this would be their 2nd year of religious education) Please contact Mrs. Gillespie if you should have any questions.
