Prayer Request: We ask you to please continue to pray for Marcie Olvera mother of Nicolas in the 7th grade. We ask the Lord to watch over her and grant her a speedy recovery.

Congratulations: to Mr. Alfonso Magallon father of Sofia in 6th grade for winning the 42 inch TV. Thank you to all our parents who sold tickets for this TV fundraiser!

 CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION TUITION ASSISTANCE FORMS: next week you will find in your packets the Tuition Assistance Forms for the 2012-2013 school year. Please take the time to read and fill out the application. They are due on or before Friday, March 9th. The sooner you return them, the faster they will be processed. Please read the instructions very carefully and make sure all information is completed and all documents are submitted and signed.

Please note on your Calendar: that on Ash Wednesday, February 22nd we will dismiss our students at 2:00pm do to the number of services that will be held in our Parish . Please be on time for your student and daycare will be available.

Scholastic Book Fair: will be open all week during school and after school hours, it has many great book selections from Pre-school to adults. We would like to reach a goal of 200 books purchased. We know that if each student purchases a book, we could reach that goal in no time; plus, we will be reaching our ultimate goal: Teaching our kids the love of READING! You can keep track of our progress by going online to http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/gotigersgo . Books can also be purchased on-line. Thank you for supporting literacy!!! For every book purchased, you will be entered  for a chance to win scholastic prizes during Friday’s Movie Night.  We are still looking for volunteers, if you are interested in volunteering; please call Sandra Martinez at 797-8973.

BELIEVE Catalog/Cookie Dough fundraiser: will begin this week, please help us reach our $5,000 goal. 30% of sales will go towards your fundraising account. Students will have an opportunity to win prizes depending on # of items sold. Fundraiser will end February 14, 2012. For more information please call Sandra Martinez at 797-8973.

Finger Printing Opportunity: All volunteers must be fingerprinted in order to be on campus with children. The date for Archdiocesan Live scan fingerprinting will be held on February 16th at St. Sebastian 235 No. 9th St. Santa Paula from 12:00 to 3:40pm and 5:20 to 7:20pm.
