First Communion Guide Lines

First Communion Guide Lines

We recommend that each child be dressed appropriately yet simply for this celebration:

 Girls may wear:        White dress

White veil or a wreath of flowers

                                    White tights or ankle socks

                                     Dress shoes

Boys may wear:       Long sleeve white shirt

                                    Dark tie

Dress pants (a suit may be worn if they would like)

                                    Dress shoes

Dresses and veils are available at the St. Anthony Gift Shop. Prayer books, rosary set and candles are not required for the First Communion celebration, but they are available at the Gift Shop and Father will bless them at the end of Mass. The children will not carry any of these items with them. If you would like to bring them and have them blessed, please hold on to them and Father will have you hold them up as he blesses them.

If you have any questions about what your child can wear feel free to ask me.
