I was very moved by their performance, respect and love for what they have learned. Ms. Acuna you have given the entire class not only the opportunity to learn the true meaning of the stations of the cross through action but you have also given them the opportunity to show their love for Jesus using the talents that God has given them. Daniel's experiences in your class will always stay with him. We are very grateful for what Daniel learns each day in your class. We are blessed to have you part of our lives! During this holy season of Lent, we enter our own "desert" of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. I think Daniel summed up this video and the purpose of our Lenten sacrifices when we finished our meditations for the day, "If Jesus can give his life for us, then we can give up our D.S.I.s and all other kinds of cool stuff for him, right?" Yes, Daniel, we can! In art and song, we experience Jesus’ 40 days and nights in the desert.
