Teacher Appreciation Spirit Week: Lets honor our teachers and celebrate this awesome week. Please reference the spirt week schedule.
Noon Dismissal: on Wednesday, May 5th, for faculty meeting. Tiger Time available for those students who are enrolled in the afterschool program.
An Evening in Tuscany Virtual Raffle: Join us for a virtual kick off to our event on Saturday, May 29th, at 6:30pm. This promises to be a fun filled evening. All money spent this evening will go 100% towards your fundraising obligation. Raffle flyer and raffle kick off flyer.
SAS Movie Night: Friday, May 14th, at 6:30pm. We will be adhering to COVID protocols. Students must always remain with their parents. NO DROP OFF OF STUDENTS for their will be no supervision. See flyer.
STAR Testing: please note that our last STAR test for grades TK-8 will be held from May 10th to 25th. It is important that your children sleep and eat well and are dropped off to school on time. Make every effort to schedule any appointments for after school.
Fundraising Efforts and Parent Hours: Per your family contract our fundraising efforts and hours will continue as outlined in your contract. Did you know you can earn your $300.00 fundraising commitment and not sell anything? That is right, just use our gift card (scrip) program. You have options to purchase physical or e-cards you can use for your purchases of groceries, gas, and eating out, just to name a few. There are also 2 mobile options; Raise Right and Benefit Mobile. Gift cards are not just for giving, they are a terrific way to raise over and above your commitment. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Duran or Mrs. Cottam in the front office and they will be happy to assist you.
Fundraising Statements: Please review your balance owed as of this date. We do have upcoming events that can assist you to fulfill your balance owed.
Lunch Supervision: We need help during lunch time. Supervision is from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Please sign up by using Parent Booker. This is a great opportunity to put in your service hours so, you are not charged at the end of the year. If there are no available positions, please feel free to come by, we can always use the help.
Open Enrollment for the 2021-2022 School Year: If you know of any family who is interested in enrolling a new student at St. Anthony for the 2021-2022 school year, please invite them to call the school office. Every recommended family for the next school year, who registers and pays registration fee, the recommending family’s registration fee will be waived for one student for the 2021-2022 school year. This is for new, not returning families. One referral discount per family, per year.
PRE-SCHOOL ENROLLMENT: Information and financial aid are available. Our preschool director is available to answer any questions you may have. Preschoolers must be 2.5 years of age and potty-trained.
Social Networking and Emails: please take this time to go over with your students the privileges and responsibility of having Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, Twitter, Tik Tok and email accounts. It is important that as parents you have access to these accounts and monitor what your students are posting.
REMINDER CDC Check In: Every day before bringing your student to school, you will need to fill out the CDC COVID-19 Screening Test for your child. If it is safe for your student to come to school, the CDC Test will send you to an “Approved” page. You will need to present the Approved page to a St. Anthony faculty member when you drop off your student. If your student does not have an Approved page for that day, they will not be allowed on campus. Use the following link for CDC Screening. https://www.cdc.gov/screening/
Health and Safety: Parents screen students before leaving for school. Students should stay at home if any of the following symptoms are displayed: a temperature 99.5 or higher, substantial congestion (not caused by allergies), cough, sore throat, nausea, stomachache, earache; symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or if they have had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days. If your child is late, please have the CDC screening available to show office staff.
St. Anthony’s School Text Line: As we continue to enhance communication with our parents, we are happy to continue to use our school’s text line through Remind.
