Morning Arrival
Supervision: Morning duty begins at 7:30 a.m.. For their safety, students should not arrive on campus before this time.
Bells: The first bell rings at 7:50 a.m., followed by the final bell at 7:55 a.m..
Tardiness: If a student arrives after 7:55 a.m., a parent or guardian must accompany them to the front office to sign them in.
Walkers: Students who walk to school may enter the school grounds through the parish gate entrance. Once students arrive, they must remain on campus.
Dismissal Procedures
General Dismissal: Students are dismissed from the patio area and must follow all established rules for entering vehicles in the carline.
Walkers: Students who walk home are required to leave through the front office.
Traffic Flow: To ensure student safety, parents must follow the designated traffic pattern for drop-off and pick-up as outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook traffic map.
Rainy Day Dismissal
On rainy days, students will enter and exit through the hallway doors located at the end of the buildings. To keep families together, older students should wait for their younger siblings in the Primary Wing. Both hallway doors will remain open, and teachers will dismiss students directly to their authorized parent or guardian.
Punctuality & Attendance
At St. Anthony’s, we value every minute of the school day! We encourage all families to arrive early so students are settled in their classrooms by 7:55 a.m.. Being on time allows children to socialize and transition smoothly into their morning activities.
Late Arrivals: Students arriving after the bell must check in with the School Secretary in the front office before heading to class.
Tardiness Policy: Because punctuality is a shared responsibility, repetitive tardiness will require a meeting with the Principal and may result in a Saturday detention.
Reporting Absences: If your child will be absent, please notify the office by 8:30 a.m. by calling the School Secretary at 805-487-5317.
